We have abstracted data capture away from any particular morbidity, language or geographical region, while retaining clinical-grade data models for its storage and a large library of health data items. This means noink can assist with any real-world data capture requirement — for any condition, in any language, in any location.

We do this with the concept that "everything is a module" within the noink platform. Every possible data point captured by the noink platform is configurable with respect to condition, language or location. Fulfilling noink’s design philosophy of a multi-lingual, multi-user, multi-condition platform.

The utility and educational modules within noink also share these characteristics, giving you an engaged and dedicated global group of users while breaking the transactional nature of clinical trials.

Clinical-grade, research-ready data

noink’s extendibility is also controlled to remain clinical-grade and research-ready. All data entered by users is stored in industry standard clinical taxonomies like SNOMED-CT and the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-11).

Any unit of measure stored adheres to globally recognised standards, such as the SI system from the International Bureau of Weights and Measures or with a clinical aspect via LONIC®. The output of this data to assist research and development is via API in many formats (e.g. JSON, XML & SQL) and fully FHIR® compliant.

This modular extendibility is made possible by noink’s further use of a deep well of scientifically approved health data, obtained from clinical-grade data sources such as the World Health Organization’s Model Lists of Essential Medicines (WHO EML), The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) list of approved therapeutics, and many other national and international health bodies.

Even with these infinite possibilities, the power of noink’s modules can be harnessed and adapted to your unique needs quickly and easily.

To filter the possibilities down to your needs, we use a low code paradigm. This is best described as "configure not code". You are not writing software but rather simply telling us what you need and we configure it for you. You can start collecting real-world data instantly.

Even during a trial or study, you can alter these modular configurations in real-time. noink can be adjusted to extend or reduce the different real-world data points being collected at any time. This in-flight adaptive data capture is possible via our comprehensive archive of configurable items. If a new data item is deemed relevant to a study it can be added at the push of a button.
