We support rare disease
"Rare disease" is a misnomer. While each particular condition may individually have a low prevalence, collectively they affect a significant portion of the world’s population. Current estimates suggest 6% (over 400M people) live with a rare disease.
Individual rare conditions suffer from slow diagnoses, lack of treatments or even assistive health apps. We have broken the economic barriers to help rare disease patients and noink has been proven to help with these conditions at both a patient and clinical trial level.
To date noink has been configured for MKD/HIDS SPG-50, SC8NA, PKU, FCS, Cystic Fibrosis to name but a few. We are always delighted to talk to rare disease patient organisations about helping their members.
Our roots in complex care
noink started in the most difficult of situations. Assisting the complex care needs of a child with life-changing injuries. This included assisting multiple stakeholders with their 24/7 "waking night" care duties and providing the backbone of all the patient’s health data.
We understand that meticulous attention to detail in care notes and health data have profound impacts on quality of life in these situations. We allow the removal of subjectivity in care and make the tracking of trends objective. noink has proven itself in being able to change the patient clinician relationship and we pride ourselves on having improved the quality of life for complex care patients.
Loved ones far away
Mobile technology has allowed noink to manage the care of a loved one at a distance. Whether it is from another city or even overseeing the care for elderly parents in another country. This is possible with the multi-user and multilingual capability of noink.
Of benefit to both clinical trials and remote care, noink’s alerting and acceptable range functionality means you can be sure of the accuracy of any data entered and alerted when out of the ordinary events occur. Our easy-to-use data entry interface has been designed around users who may not be comfortable with technology meaning you can be assured of getting a real-life picture of any user’s health journey.
